Inspiring TED Talk From Children's Book Author/Illustrator Jarrett J. Krosoczka

Aspiring AND experienced children's book authors and illustrators need to watch this video.

I really want to meet Jarrett J. Krosoczka someday.

Some of my takeaways from the talk: How important it is for grown-ups to encourage imagination and creativity in children. How just a few encouraging words to a young artist or writer could have a deep and long-lasting impact.

What an inspiring story! I'm a young artist in that phase of working hard and not getting paid for it, and seeing things like this keeps me going!
I know I can bring a little bit of magic into the world,
Thanks for sharing,
Katy

What an inspirational story and I am so moved by all Jarrett went through to make him the author and illustrator he has become. I have to read his books now. So wonderful. I guess he had to go through the sadness to reach the stars.

I am thrilled by your story because that is what I am going through right now. At age of 11 i have published two books which are also approved by Uganda National Curriculum Development Centre for upper primary. I want to be in touch with you. Thank you, Bonita
