Five days out of seven :(
Though most of the five spilled well over 500. But 500 still feels the right amount.
Will. Do. Better. This. Week.

I wrote 6 out of 7 days, but one day was fewer than 100 words. I'm happy that my consistency is getting better.

And my dad is home and doing so much better. Thanks for the well wishes!

Last week was bad. Too much stuff happening and when I sat down, I think I just stared at the blank page. Hopping to get back into my groove again.

Hardly wrote anything at all this week due to a really awesome first draft from a writer buddy I couldn't put down. Time consuming to read and edit, but it was totally worth it.
Now I'm off to write again. Thanks for the reminder that I should be writing as well as reading.

I'm so happy. After the not so stellar week before last I got my act together again, and wrote every day! I did a total of 4172 words this week

Sorry for bragging but I'm so happy that the story is moving forward again.

Cid, I'm happy to hear that your father is better.

I was fortunate to make my numbers this week. I had a lot going on and the week ahead promises to be the same. However, the idea of scrambling at the end gives me a headache. So that won't be happening again. Here's my stats:

Weekly Goal: 3,500 words
Words Written: 3,500
Target Goal: 143,500 words
Status: 16% complete

I wish everyone much success in the week ahead!

My word count last week was 9,810. That is 4,998 more words than the week before! Not where I was but I am slowly getting back there. I am getting rid of a few distractions that aren't anything more than hurdles in my life. That should help by leaps and bounds :) Have a great week everyone!

Hi everyone,

Last week, I wrote four days out of seven. I know it doesn't seem all that great, but it's definite progress. It felt good to write almost every day of the week. This week has kicked off to a lazy start, but I'm still hoping to make it five days out of seven.

Last week was the Computer Week from Hell.

Monday: fought with computers all day at work
Tuesday: a routine hard drive check of my home machine turns up bad sectors. Spent the night blocking these off and backing up. Thank goodness for Linux and its automatic hard drive integrity checks!
Wednesday: home router needs resetting. Repeatedly.
Thursday: writing! yay!
Friday:

Today is Tuesday and I got a blog post done, so things are looking up already....
