Established in July/2010, the  Inkygirl Golden Marmot Award is given to Twitter status updates deserving of a high-browed and incredibly prestigious award like this one. Criteria is unapologetically subjective but usually involves acerbic wit.

If you win the award, you do NOT have to display or acknowledge the award (but feel free to brag about this immense honour if you so desire). Just bask in the ephemeral, golden glory of social media stardom and then move on, continuing to be an inspiration to the book community.
