Bugs are great source of inspiration for horror. I just went through a bedbug infestation and bug bombing of my apartment over the last two months. The mysterious rash that forms on your arms and legs. The realization that there's too many "beatles" in your bed, and discovering a swarm of baby bedbugs rising up at 3:00AM to feed on you. Sleeping on a plastic-wrapped, pesticide-sprayed mattress can be interesting. Then some people wonder why my writings took a turn to the dark side of humanity.
